Learn to:

- Use a main “through line” to build a sketch
- Use line to create dynamic shapes, then add color
- Make a mark making tool from twigs, stick reeds or whatever is at hand
SUPPLY LIST
- Several pieces of mixed media or watercolor paper (or sketch book), at least 9×12
- Waterproof ink (black is easy to find, but colors are so much fun!)
- Bamboo Pen and/or a twig about 6-10” long and “little finger” thickness
- Xacto knife or box cutter
- Paper towels or rag
Optional:
- A few watercolors, three or so, in any colors you like
- A brush
- Palette (as simple as a plate or plastic lid)
- Small water container
